Posted by Ouch. He woke me up at 2 am because his knees hurt so badly. Open wounds on both knees from the football field turf. Oozing big holes on my babys’ knees.
He still had the time of his life out there and can’t wait for more this Thursday night. We will buy big bandaids and see if they hold.

I remember the pain….assure him that his knees will toughen up soon. If he’s willing, you might try knee pads, the kind volleyball players use. The sporting goods store would have them. Or try taping gause bandages (tape around the knee with medical tape). Wish I could be there to help.
We are going to Walgreen’s tonight to shop for the perfect bandaid contraption. It keeps opening up, and bleeding all over. Ick.
